Youth Ministry

Student Ministry at Cornerstone exists to engage students from the sixth grade to the twelfth grade into an adventurous life with God.

This is accomplished through interactive Bible Studies, Discipleship Classes, Camps and Retreats and a variety of other outgoing and exciting events.

Our purpose is to be REAL followers of Jesus Christ dedicated to STAYING ON TRACK with the Savior, committed to TELL others about God’s love.

REVIVE Thrives!

For more than a year a Core team of eight college Students led by Aaron Peters met and made preparations for a week long camp designed to take students out of their comfort zones and motivate them to BREAKOUT of those habits that have kept them from experiencing intimacy with God.  More than 100 students attended the 5 day camp.  Multiple decisions were made including 12 first-time commitments to Christ.  God has given Aaron and his team a vision to continue with REVIVE CONFERENCES.  The Cornerstone Church Family can take pride in knowing that they helped this young man start a ministry that not only has already changed lives but is going to be used in the future to reach a generation of lost teens.

OUR YOUTH MINISTRY NEEDS YOU!!! **Even if you DON’T like teenagers!
We’re looking for adults to join our team in four areas:

  • Small Group Leader – On Sunday mornings we break into small groups for Sunday School. Ideally, we would like 2 adults per small group. Currently we need several adults for the 9:15 hour.
  • Wednesday Night Facilitator – Wednesdays are designed for the students to bring their friends to a hands on friendly Bible Study atmosphere.  You would be asked to facilitate conversation based on the study that is being presented that evening.
  • Prayer Team – tired of standing?  We need people on their knees praying for our youth ministry
  • Mentor Me – Students need mentoring.  As a result, we will    attempt to implement a 1-year mentoring program where adults spend quality time (not quantity) loving on students.
