Ready to get plugged in and be a part of a ministry team? No matter your God given gifts and talents you can be used to bring glory to God and minister to other women. Current opportunities include, bible study, prayer, special events, communications, activities, hospitality, mentoring, service, and missions.

Sep 9 – Ladies Night Out

LADIES NIGHT OUT is BACK!

Join us for a night of food, fun and friendly competition.
Date:  Thursday, September 9

BIBLE STUDY Opportunities

LORD I Want to Know YOU…To know God is to know His character, and that character is revealed in His names. Each name is an aspect of His sovereignty over your life.  Come join us for this study of the Names of God.

The study will be offered on Friday mornings and Tuesday nights.  Suzanne Billips leads the Tuesday night study and Cassy Sampson leads the Friday morning study.  Childcare is offered for those who pre-register for childcare.

We will meet from September 14 – November 23 on Tuesday evenings and                                 September 17 – November 19 on Friday mornings

Pour out your heart to God for your children

Have you ever felt burdened for your children and not known what to do about it? Moms in Touch is an opportunity to meet with other moms to pray for your children. (www.momsintouch.org).  To briefly describe MIT: Each week moms usually with kids in a common school or schools meet to pray. In that time each week, we also learn more about an attribute (characteristic) of God and we praise Him for it. We also silently confess our sins and thank God for His answers.  Then, we put before Him our requests. We pray for the specific needs of our children and we also pray scripture verses over our children. For example, we would pray, “May my children (by name) love the Lord their God with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their strength.”  Praying scripture over the lives of our children is very important because God tells us in Isaiah that His Word does not return void. When we pray scripture over our children, we know that we are praying for God’s will to come forth in the lives of our children.  Scripture teaches that sometimes we don’t have because we don’t ask. Moms in Touch is a place that helps us be accountable to pray diligently over the lives of our children.  Perhaps, you have never prayed in a group. The same could be said of many people now in MIT.  Is God nudging your heart to be a part of MIT to pray more diligently for your children?
