Weaver House
The Weaver House is a part of Greensboro's Urban Ministry and offers year round shelter to adult men and women. These are dorm type rooms with beds that offer additional space during the cold winter months. Cornerstone supports the Weaver House by purchasing, preparing, and serving the breakfast meal on the 2nd Saturday of each month. It takes about 10-12 volunteers working from 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM to complete this monthly ministry. Jail Ministry
Every Saturday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 the men and women behind the bars at the Guildford County Jail in Greensboro have the opportunity to hear the word of God. The word of God is delivered by volunteers from several local churches including the Cornerstone Jail Ministry Team. It is the mission of the Jail Ministry to meet the spiritual needs of inmates through evangelism and discipleship in the Guilford County Jail.
